At Jasper Health we have a team of passionate specialists offering Dietetics, Podiatry, Osteopathy, Psychology, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Massage who provide exceptional care to the Bentleigh community through detailed assessment, treatment and education for all clients. We ensure our clients receive the highest quality, evidence-based treatment. 

Jasper Health is situated along the Bentleigh shopping strip on the north side of Centre Road, approximately 100 metres from Jasper Road. There is a large car park at the rear of our building and Bentleigh Railway Station is just 200 metres away. Our central location makes it easy for you to get to your appointment.  Our services focus on family wellness.

Dietician

Jenny Davidson (Dietician)

Jenny is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with over 30 years of experience. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (Nutrition major), Post Graduate Diploma of Dietetics from Deakin University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Exercise Medicine from Monash University.


Jenny’s background includes clinical dietetics in both public and private hospitals as well as food services management and community health, now working exclusively in Private Practice.

Sean Sullivan (Podiatrist)

Sean graduated from La Trobe University in 1995, and has been established in the area for almost 15 years. Sean deals in all aspects of podiatry incldung: heel/arch pain, diabetic care and assessment, postural/buimechanical analysis, orthotics, flat feet, corns/calluses, nail care, and foot related knee and hip pain.

Maria Bailey (Psychologist)

Maria is a registered psychologist, former Professional Tennis Player, Tennis Coach, Secondary Teacher trained, and a parent of six children. Maria has worked in a variety of setting including schools, clubs and in private practice. With a wealth of life experience, a healthy dose of good humour, and a serve of positivity, Maria promotes a professional, caring, collaborative and therapeutic relationship that celebrates diversity, inclusivity and respectful relationships.

Dr Giovanna Lajbcygier (Psychologist)

Giovanna (or Jo) believes that all individuals are capable of change regardless of change however reluctant they might at times to break with the status quo. She has a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and over 16 years of experience working with clients. She encourages clients to embrace new techniques and strategies that produce greater satisfaction and happiness and work, home, personal relationships and other important areas of their life.

Dr Vivienne Wilmott (née Tilyard) (Osteopath)

Vivienne firmly believes that educating her patients to understand the nature of their
condition is the key to pain management and recovery from injury.

 

Vivienne enjoys treating the wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions that patients
present to her with and is enthusiastic about the role she plays in helping her patients to overcome injuries and manage pain. She provides hands on treatment combined with exercise prescription, ergonomic advice and lifestyle modifications to help her patients get back to their normal.

Dr. Connie Petousis

Connie is a passionate osteopath who graduated from Victoria university having
completed a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences and Masters of Osteopathy. Connie has a strong passion for supporting families, with a particular focus on caring for babies and children, as well as prenatal and postnatal women. Connie has completed additional postgraduate courses building her expertise in working with infants and young children who suffer from, feeding and latching
difficulties, colic, digestive discomfort, and musculoskeletal conditions related to
growth and development.

Dr Gabriela Pecherskiy (Osteopath)

Gaby is passionate about implementing a patient centred approach to treatment; her focus is on finding and explaining the root cause of the problem specific to each individual patient. During her Masters Degree, Gaby took the opportunity to complete a hospital placement in India, working across Mumbai and Goa. Her time was spent collaborating with Orthopedic Surgeons and Physiotherapists where she gained invaluable experience in post-surgical rehabilitation of patients.

Justine Garnes (Osteopath)

With over 16 years of experience, Justine Garnes is a skilled osteopath dedicated to helping people of all ages. She has a special interest in treating postural issues, headaches, TMJ (jaw) dysfunction, neck, back and hip pain, sciatica, and neurological conditions including Parkinson’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis.

Since graduating from the British School of Osteopathy in 2010 she has developed a treatment approach which is individualised, practical, and hands-on. Justine also provides tailored home exercise programs to help patients continue improving between treatments and achieve lasting results.

Alongside treating people, Justine is also qualified in Animal Osteopathy (Animal Osteopathic Centre, 2012). She works with pets and performance animals to improve mobility, reduce pain, and support recovery, often incorporating VetLaser (cold laser therapy) and dry needling to enhance healing.

Heather Dalgleish

​Heather has been practising Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for 7 years. Heather’s passion for TCM occurred after experiencing its profound benefits on her personal health, In clinic Heather uses a combination of acupuncture (including Moxabustion), Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, tui na (massage), diet and exercise therapy for her treatment of a wide range of conditions including pain, stress, musculoskeletal, gynaecological, digestive and general chronic problems. Heather is a registered practitioner with the Chinese Medicine Registration Board of Australia (CMRBA).

Jasper Health opened in 2008 as an affiliate site to Jasper Medical, 449 Centre Road, Bentleigh – just 3 doors away.

Jasper Health’s Allied Health professionals provide a quality service direct to the public. Jasper Health staff are friendly, welcoming and operate independently. They all maintain standards at the highest practice levels and live with their families in the Bentleigh locality. Our architecturally designed rooms consist of 3 individual “pods” downstairs, very modern and cosy, as well as counselling rooms upstairs.

With everyone so busy these days, we believe that if we can offer as many services as possible under one roof – this may be very helpful for you and your family.
