Jasper Medical recently conducted a comprehensive patient survey to understand how to best meet your needs.

The feedback was highly positive and we sincerely appreciate the time taken to complete the surveys.

Areas where the practice scored particularly strongly were around respect, ethics, and quality of care – which are always our top priority and we are pleased these shine through to our patients.

Areas where patients thought we could improve were waiting times and seeing your practitioner of choice. We recognise that these two areas are reflective of the popularity and demand for particular doctors, but we are implementing further measures to ensure maximum availability whenever possible including:

  • Extra redundancy in our bookings to allow for overflow
  • Increasing our workforce to maximum capacity for our practice
  • Quick clinics for repeat items like scripts and referrals
  • Restricting new patient bookings to less busy doctors

We believe the easing of various pandemic restrictions over the last year, in addition to these measures, should make a noticeable difference to availability and congestion moving forward.

The most common reason any of our doctors are late is their appointments running longer than scheduled. We make every effort to run on time, but in healthcare no day is ever predictable. We hope that patients recognise and appreciate that providing comprehensive care sometimes takes longer than planned. Should your GP be running late, please know that you will be offered the same courtesy during your appointment if needed.
