After much consideration, Jasper Medical has decided not to be a provider during the first phase of the AstraZeneca Coronavirus vaccine – phase 1b of the Australian Government’s plan due to begin in March.
The requirement to deliver large quantities of vaccines to the general public was likely to disrupt normal care offered to patients, which we want to avoid.
As soon as arrangement for vaccine locations are confirmed by the Department of Health & Human Services, we will provide them to patients. Patients can expect to attend vaccine facilities or hubs, in the same way that testing sites are set up.
